On 30 December, the final event of 2025 took place at our Mineralogical Museum. And it was not an ordinary one, but a Christmas event — for children, teenagers and their closest adults.
We shared “Christmas” mineralogical stories and presented (in photographs within the presentation and in specimens from a thematic collection) the most beautiful and interesting “winter minerals” of white colour and transparent varieties. After the theoretical part, a workshop on making Christmas tree decorations was held. An active quest through the museum halls concluded with the awarding of prizes to the winners. It was a pleasure to observe how adults — parents, grandparents — took part in all our activities together with the children.
After the joint work on the quest tasks, a traditional tea gathering with refreshments and friendly conversation took place as a warm conclusion to the event.
