“Volcanoes” – an event at the Mineralogical Museum for schoolchildren

December 8, 2025. Another Monday on the calendar, another event at the Mineralogical Museum!
This time, we were visited by 6th grade students and their teacher, Ms. Zoryana, from the Oriana Lyceum of the Lviv City Council (Oriana Lyceum of the Lviv City Council).
The topic of the meeting was very interesting: “Volcanoes”! Why and where they form, their structure, types, eruption products, interesting information about the world's most famous volcanoes, a visual demonstration of a “volcano eruption” experiment, a collection of volcanic rocks, a unique museum exhibition, the opportunity to make your own volcano model — all this was at the event! Plus, there were cool souvenirs!
We really enjoyed hosting this meeting because the students listened very attentively, asked relevant questions, and showed genuine interest.
So, the mood was great, and everything went well! Even the lack of light did not interfere. Because the main thing is desire and inspiration, and we have plenty of that!
Thank you to our young visitors and Ms. Zoryana, we look forward to seeing you at new events at the Museum!
